Question 5: There are different angles of Quran being blessed book. Please mention some those from Quran.
Answer:
The Holy Quran is a book of guidance and a sea of knowledge for those who take inspiration from it. While the Quran is meant to be a guide for all of humanity, regardless of creed, identity, cultural background, age, or gender, we have more potential to learn from its guidance and knowledge if we purify our hearts. God states, There is no doubt that this book is a guide for the pious. Allah says:
“Hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. Remember the favour of Allah upon you, when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became brothers by his favour.”(Surah Al Imran 3:103)
Everyone no matters rich or poor can find the things that are about them in the Holy Quran. We can learn the knowledge and lessons from the Quran that is necessary for peace and tranquillity both in this world and the hereafter. The Quran is a source of guidance, inspiration, healing, and cure. It’s well-proven as a medicament for black magic and the evil eye. Allah says:
“And this (is) a Book We have revealed it – blessed, so follow it and consciously revere (Allah) so that you may receive mercy.” (Surah Al-An’am, 6: 155)
Holy Quran is the last sacred holy book of Allah Almighty that was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the noble angel Jibril. Noble Quran is a spiritual guide for all people living in any place or time and for the whole life of man. Although Muslims give great respect to Quran and conduct their matters under the light of instructions mentioned in Quran, however, due to the busy routine of the present-day life, very few find the time of reciting the Holy Quran on daily bases. Allah says:
“Then (do) not they ponder (on) the Quran? And if it had (been) from other than Allah, surely they (would have) found in it much contradiction.” (Surah An-Nisa: 4:82)
The Holy Quran is essential to the life of every Muslim or we can say that it is a living reality. Holy Quran is a communication from Allah (SWT) in which He is directly addressing every person. The words of the Holy Quran are timeless and always valid. Every word of it is deeply relevant to our concerns and experiences, and they are to be integrated fully into our lives. Recitation of the Quran is an essential part of the daily religious practice of every Muslim in the world. Allah says:
Say, “Whoever is an enemy to Jibreel – then indeed he brought it down on your heart by (the) permission (of) Allah confirming what (was) before it and a guidance and glad tiding(s) for the believers.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:97)
Reciting Holy Quran is the best way to gain Allah’s interest. It has been set important by Allah Almighty for the Muslims for the Success. Blessed Book was uncovered in Arabic, we ought to know the interpretation to follow up on it however to the extent perusing is concerned, We ought to recount it in Arabic and for which learning Arabic standards and regulations is the first step. Allah says:
“Indeed, this, the Quran, guides to that which (is) most straight and gives glad tidings to the believers – those who do the righteous deeds, that for them (is) a reward great.” (Surah Al-Isra: 17:9)
Allah has set a reward for those who recite the Holy Quran. So, a person who recites the Quran daily will get plenty of rewards.
Here are some benefits of reciting Holy Quran:
1. Quran acts as a source of knowledge to the Muslims
2. Quran separate the right from the wrong
3. Quran will intercede for us on the Day of Judgment
4. Quran has shown mankind the path of repentance
5. Quran acts as the first source of Islamic Shariah
6. Quran is a source of guidance for humanity
7. Quran is a book of spiritual healing
8. Quran will lead to Paradise
9. You will be successful
10. Reciting Holy Quran fulfils an Islamic duty
11. You will have become the best of the people
12. The Quran will intervene for us on the Day of Judgment
13. Allah gives ten rewards for each individual who recites the Holy Quran
14. You will be in Paradise if the amount of Quran you memorize in this life
The first and perhaps the most important blessing missed by a person by not reciting the Quran on a daily basis is the forgetfulness of the real purpose of revelation. Although at the time of need and in case of any problem Muslims turn towards the Quran. Recitation of the Quran again and again never bores its readers neither do the readers lose interest by reading it over and over again. The Noble Quran contains all kinds of principles of creed, deeds, and ethics that will make a man attain real joy in life. Allah says:
“If We (had) sent down this Quran on a mountain, surely you (would) have seen I humbled, breaking asunder from (the) fear (of) Allah. And these (are) the examples, We present them to the people so that they may give thought.” (Surah Al-Hashr 59:21)
Holy Quran not only helps us to solve our daily life problems but also provides us with guidance to live and lead a successful life as it is the book of guidance for all of us. The Quran has the solution to every matter of life that a person could face in his/her life. However, when Quran reading is done on a daily bases, a Muslim gets to know about the real purpose behind the revelation.
Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
• “Allah has promised those who believe and do good deeds (that) they shall have forgiveness and a mighty reward.” (Quran 5:9)
• “And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing.” (Quran 7:200)
• “O you who have been given the Scripture! Believe in what We have revealed confirming what is (already) with you…” Quran 4:47)
• “O you who believe! Bow down and prostrate yourselves and worship your Lord, that you may succeed.” (Quran 22:77)
• “And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?” (Quran, 54:17)
• “Thus have We sent this down – an Arabic Qur’an – and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, so that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause their remembrance (of Him).” (Surah Ta-Ha, 113)
• “If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support.” (Surah Al-Isra, 88)
• “We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will certainly guard it (from corruption).” (Quran 15:09)
• “And be patient, for indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.” (Quran 11:115)
• “When thou dost read the Qur’an, seek Allah.s protection from Satan the rejected one.” (Surah An-Nahl, 98)
• “And your God is One God. There is no god but He, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” (Quran 2:163)
“(This is) a Book We have revealed it to you, blessed, that they may ponder (over) its Verses and may be reminded those of understanding..” (Surah Sad 38:29)
Implementation of the teachings of the Holy Quran in our daily life is the most important thing to do because the Quran teaches us about each and everything. The Noble Quran has the real-life stories of the old societies and traditions reason for these stories in the Quran is to understand the truth. The purpose of the Quran is to bring blessings to a person and it instigates the spirit of monitoring in the readers. There is no denying the instructional importance of Quran for a Muslim. Allah says:
“O mankind! Verily has come to you instruction from your Lord, and a healing for what (is) in your breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers.” (Surah Yunus 10:57)
As a Muslims, reciting Holy Quran is our duty and we must fulfil Allah’s order. It can also bring other benefits in the form of the cleansing of the heart, revitalization of the true path, a chance of conversing with Allah and thus becoming a better Muslim every day. The Holy Quran is an extraordinary book that invades every aspect of one’s life. Its message is for everyone not just for Muslims.

Question 6: There are 2 ayaats in Quran which link His KINGDOM (مُلْكُ) with blessing (تَبَارَكَ ). Al-Zukhraf 85, and Al-Mulk 1. What is the relationship between blessing and kingdom?
Answer:
43:85
And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned.
67:1
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent.
Kingdom=King/ruler and the ruled (includes all living and non-living things). Allah is the un-disputed lone king of all living and non-living things. No one shares anything in His kingship. His countless blessings are continuously benefitting His creations. There are three factors in a blessing, blessing itself, giver of blessing and recipient of blessing. Allah is giver of all blessings which He showers on His creations which constitute His kingdom. While the existence of the creation is dependent, contingent, temporal, and received from beyond itself, the existence or reality of Allah is eternal, independent, self-sufficient, and self-existent being who needs no other being for His existence, and consequently exists by and through Himself alone. The divine name al-Samad (the supremely independent, self-sufficient being endowed with all the attributes of perfection to which all else turns in need for existence, life, guidance, help, forgiveness, etc.) implies that there is a blessed linkage between the creator and His creation where the one creator will sustain the creation by looking after it. This relationship also signifies that since Allah is the sustainer, He is in need of nothing, and even as He gives, nothing is diminished from His treasury.

Q3.1: Why Holy Prophet(PBUH) is given resemblance with Siraj and Munir (ayat 45 and 46 of Surah AL Ahzab) ?
Because Siraj carries the meaning of a light of a lamp, which is the word used to describe the sun elsewhere in the Quran. The light of the sun diffuses everywhere and in the physical world, all other lights pale compared to it. Such was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Message he brought.
Munir, is mentioned as conveys the meaning of light-giving, luminous and illuminating. Both the Message and the Messenger ﷺ were a light for mankind, illuminating not only the hearts and souls of those present, but who’s light still reaches us today and through which we are guided (Light of Quran and Sunnah). As a lamp spread the light same our Prophet ﷺ ’s message is as clear as the sun shining brightly, and no one can deny it except those who are stubborn.’

Above two verses are describing different Attributes of the Messenger of Allah

Assalam Alaykum All,

My replies as follows:

Q1. Correct. Izhar bhai not only mentioned how many times, he quoted all ayaats also. This was not asked, but he spent extra time, which is highly appreciated. In order to keep forum readable, to the point, short, focus on answering the asked question only.

Alhamdulillah, I am getting fruits of my labour. My intention from Arabic course was to inculcate a habit in all of you to take a word and do research in whole Quran how many times it has come, how Allah (ﷻ) uses it in different meanings, what are different dimensions, do research until you get complete mastery of that word. Word by word, slowly you understand whole Quran like that. Thanks Izhar bhai and all others who are accompanying me in this journey.

Q2. The concept of Barakah or Blessings is simple. There is small thing, Allah (ﷻ) MULTIPLIES to that Lakh times, or Kror times or Arab or Kharab times. This is hidden is in 3 letters of (ب ر ك). It means to increase and to be long lasting. To explain, I gave 3 examples. How small thing is Multiplied by Allah (ﷻ).

a) One namaz in Haram is multiplied by 1 Lakh. Its like 55 years of Namaz.
b) One night is multiplied by 1000 month nights. Its like 77 years of worship
c) Few rain of drops grow billions and trillions of plants, fruits, grains, and vegetables.

In the questions, you were supposed to find "WHAT IS ONE THING WHICH IS BEING MULTIPLIED. FIND (IF POSSIBLE) HOW MANY TIMES BEING MULTIPLIED.

The short answer to questions 2 Ayah 14 Surah 23-Al-Muminoon is that an adult Human Being has average 37.2 trillions cells. But birth of a human starts from one cell. Allah (ﷻ) slowly multiplies it to 37.2 trillion (kharab) times SubhanAllah. Allah (ﷻ). has infinite power to increase. As in the ayah, then combinations of different cells form body parts and organs. Each one shows blessings of Allah (ﷻ). For example, in his very detailed reply, Izhar Bhai mentioned that human brain (which is a collection of cells) has a memory capacity which is the equivalent of more than four terabytes on a hard drive SubhanAllah. Finally, Allah (ﷻ) integrates different body parts and organs to make an Intelligent Human Being. This also shows his blessings.

To sum up,multiplications of cells, from them making body parts, each with different function and has its own enormous capacity, then integration of all those cells and body parts into one Intelligent Human Being is which is contained in 3 letters of (ب ر ك).

Q3. Aya 61, Surah Furqan. What is one thing in universe which is being multiplied?
As we know from science today, just like human being life starts from one cell and then Allah (ﷻ) multiplies to make body parts, organs, same way we know from science that universe started from POINT MASS (a dot), which had INFINITE DENSITY and ENERGY packed in one DOT. Allah (ﷻ) caused one dot to burst and then multiplied to create billions and trillions of stars, planets and moons. Just like He created cells, made collection of cells as body parts, then integrated all of them as one. Same way He created heavenly objects, combined multiple objects into systems. Multiple stars make constellations. Multiple planets make solar system. Multiple constellations of stars make Galaxies and multiple galaxies make Cluster of Galaxies. For example, there are about 100 thousand million stars in our galaxy Milky Way alone. Whole universe contains two trillion galaxies approximately. They are increasing as in Quran.

We have built the heaven with might, and indeed it is We who are its expanders.

Just like human body, he integrated all universe as one system and created a complete balance in it. Now we shouldn't create any imbalance in it.

He raised the heavens and set up everything in balance,
so that you would maintain justice.

This is the power of Allah (ﷻ) which is contained in 3 letters of (ب ر ك).

Q 3.1 As we know from science today, STARS have their own source of ENERGY and LIGHT. We have ONLY ONE star within our Solar System which is SUN. All other stars are outside of our solar system. Within our solar system there are planets. Planets don't have their own source of ENERGY and LIGHT. They borrow from stars. Like our earth takes energy and light from Sun. Difference between stars and planets is that stars have own energy and planets borrow from stars. Moon also take energy and light from stars.Different planets have different number of moons. Our earth has ONLY one moon. Saturn Planet has 82 moons discovered so far. Jupiter has 79 discovered so far.

As we revolve around Kaba, Angles revolve around ARSH, revolution is also Namaz and sign of love. We around Kaba and all heavenly objects revolve anti-clock wise, keeping our heart direction towards Kaba. Just like پروانہ Parwana (moth) revolves around LIGHT of candle to show its love, we revolve around Kaba.

If revolution is worship and love, then all heavenly objects are doing worship of Allah (ﷻ).

سِرَاج is Sun as in ayat below,WHICH IS ONE STAR, luminous and radiant.

قَمر is moon which REFLECTS LIGHT.

بُرُوج is plural of برج which means constellations of stars.

Revelation (Wahi) is source of LIGHT and ENERGY (8

Holy Prophet ﷺ is given resemblance to Sun (a star) because he is source of light and energy and Moon because his heart reflects light of Wahi. Holy Prophet ﷺ has his own internal light and he reflects light of Wahi. This is DOUBLE LIGHT which in Quran is called

Q4. Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Jordan all make up what is known as Bilad Ash-Shaam (بلاد الشام). WHAT IS ONE THING WHICH IS BEING MULTIPLIED in Bilad Ash-Shaam?

Bilad Ash-Shaam is the land of Prophets. The source of all Prophets is Ibrahim (عليه السلام). From ONE prophet the whole progeny of Ibrahim was born from his 2 sons. Never has this happened before or will happen after that more than 50 prophets were the descendants of Ishaq (عليه السلام). Such a blessed place SubhanAllah.

Q5. Izhar bhai mentioned 14 angles of blessing Ma Sha Allah.Adding one more, Quran is blessed because nations can rise to power with it.

Q6. In addition to what Izhar bhai said, KING is known for giving. Think of Mughal Kings or Othmani Kings. Whenever we think of a King, we think of someone who is generous in giving, who owns subjects of his kingdom. People go to his Darbaar to get gifts, jewels, silk cloths, and other benefits.

Compare how much a king gives with what Allah (ﷻ) can give with his name of 3 letters of (ب ر ك). Within these 3 letters is infinite power of His giving.

May Allah (ﷻ), with HIS infinite power of 3 letters, add barakah in our Emaan, Health, Rizq, Time and overall life.Same for our parents, siblings, children, relatives and all Muslims of the world.

Wassalam

Assalam Alaykum

We have studied 4 words Slowly we'll complete all words of Opening Prayer (دعاء الاستفتاح ) and then we'll analyze it from Arabic Grammar before we move to next part in prayer In Sha Allah.

Next words is تَعَالَى. The root of this word is (ع ل و). It means to rise, be high, above, to rise to throne, etc. Questions related to this word for Dr Shahin Rashid Sahba are:

1. How many times this word and its derivatives have come in Quran. Count all, even if repeating?
3. Which Sura contains maximum number of times this word and its derivatives?
2. What are different meanings this word and its derivatives used in Quran? Group Ayaat (Sura Number, Ayat Number) with the same meaning.
3. There are multiple places in Quran with two names of Allah (ﷻ) are paired. We studied pairs of Rahman, Raheem and Aziz and Raheem. Next pair to study is الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ . How these two names compliment each other? What is the difference between Kabeer and Aliy?
4.Two places in Quran where high counsel of angels (الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى) is mentioned. What do scholars say about this place الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى?
